A creative duo and studio created by Auriea Harvey and Michaël Samyn – a pair of programmers, designers, directors, artists creating non-commercial computer games. They are known for their controversial and innovative designs that push the boundaries of video games. They believe that the computer games industry has gone wrong, driven by commercial rather than artistic values. In their studio they created, among others The Endless Forest, The Graveyard, and the erotic game Luxuria Superbia, which won the Innovation Award at the Festival of Indie Games and IGF.

Tale of Tales currently live in Rome. They have now refrained from producing games to focus on projects built in virtual reality. In 2018, during a study visit in Poland, they created an interactive VR project Cricoterie referring to the heritage of one of the greatest creators of Polish theater, Tadeusz Kantor.
