Screenings of animations from Ars Electronica at the Krakow Summer Culture 20th Aug

We can’t wait to meeting you in October so we have prepared a pre-event in summer!
On Friday, 20th Aug, we invite you to a unique screenings of animations awarded at international competitions and selected by Ars Electronica Animation Festival. The screening will take place in the outdoors of Park Jordana as part of Krakow Summer Culture.

The authors of the selected eight animations raise a multi-faceted reflection on social media, online dating, digital data mining, as well as the consequences of climate change. We will see Hong Kong from a new perspective, a surreal experience based on childhood memories in Taiwan and an experimental film examining the collective memory of football fans (!).

Amount of the comfortable sitting-lying places in the form of sun loungers is limited.

The screening of the awarded animations of the Ars Electronica Animation Festival 2020 On Tour is presented thanks to the cooperation with the Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs.
The show will take place as part of the Krakow Summer Culture event organized by the Krakow Festival Office.
Events as part of Krakow Culture Summer will take place in accordance with the applicable sanitary regulations.
